More of a mod idea than anything....

THERE IS TEXT IN THIS POST, IF YOU CAN NOT SEE IT, LET ME KNOW!!!

 

So....The pitch. After searching a majority of forums from around the web, I haven't seen any mods done for a fantastic video game. What game you may ask? Why, only one that my new character is based off of. Lunar, Silver Star (Insert your own favorite version here)

Now I am not a modder by any means. Perhaps a tweak here and there, basic script editing, and the like. But I am not going to request this mod, because it is in fact a very vast concept to add into Oblivion. However, if there is a team willing to take on this project, I would very much like to hear your ideas on what you think you could do. My only ability that I can offer, is a writer for the quest stories and dialogue.

 

Basic ideas that I would think could be done by a team/individual of veteran modders/modder:

 

• Perhaps to start, just creating the various character outfits, such as the Magc Emperors final outfit, Dragonmaster outfit, and the teams gear.
  
• Perhaps for more time, a quest for the player to achieve the Dragon master outfit via quest update of a long unfulfilled goal of theirs.
  
• Or a quest that pits the player against the legendary Magic Emperor and a cast of new villains. ((Description ideas below))
  
• For even more time alloted veteran modders, new world spaces that include such famous cities like Vane, Meribia, and even Althena's fortress!
  
• New items to buy from vendors, silver lights, healing fruits, etc.
  
• Or at the very least, a small black/blue dragon companion to follow the player. ((Since the first and second Lunar took the white and red little dragons))
  

 

Ideas as far as quests go: ((Which this list could grow depending on the team that possibly takes it on.))

• Quest for the Dragon Master outfit: The player has a desire to fulfill a dream of theirs since childhood. The player decides they should take on the challenge now that they are older and more experienced in combat. The player decides in order to start this quest, they should visit one of the book stores in Cyrodill to learn about the dragons and the legends of ancient Dragon Masters. ((The concept of dragons in Cryodill is perfect to use this quest in, seeing as though the Dragon Invasion mod was a success. More ideas on this will develop if this project takes flight))
  
• The player is pitted against the new threat in Cryodill. This concept is based off the character I am playing now, can you guess who? Ghaleon himself! I made him and he is feeling a little off without his outfit from the final fight in LSSSC/H/L. Anyways, the story I am providing is just based off what I have done thus far, Ghaleon has become the new arch mage of the Mages Guild. ((But my player is the arch mage! Well move over, now there are two.))) So, to no surprise of anyone Ghaleon turns traitor again, and seeks to rule Cryodill as the new Magic Emperor. New allies and villains would appear in this adventure via companion mods and the like. ((But Ghaleon died in the first Lunar! And in the second! This mod would take place before the events of Lunar 2, where Ghaleon is sent not to the afterlife, but to Cryodill!)) How the events of this betrayal would play out, events, quests, fights, etc, again sadly, would only come to fruition if this mod takes flight.
  

 

But as you can see, there are many different things that can be done with this game and incorporated into Oblivion. Again, not requesting it due to it's vast opportunities, but in the case a team comes together to tackle it, I am more than happy to help in any way I can. ^_^ Screen shots of my Ghaleon. He made the text to be the same color as background. Go figure.

 

Also if you like Final Fantasy, but have not played Lunar: Silverstar Story and Lunar 2: Eternal Blue yet, i strongly recomend you to do so. Playstation versions are the best ones.

MY TEXT WAS THE SAME COLOR AS THE BACKGROUND!?.........My background, all of it right now is black, I don't get it....How could it have been hiding? Anywho, I change the text to blue, hopefully that will clear up this mess. I had given up hope someone would reply to this post. It's better now right?

Hopefully I fixed the problem. Yes, I would love to see if modders will take on this project, as I love this game and it would fit near perfect for Oblivion standards. A luna cosplay.....XD I love it!

No problem. They were very highly praised. And Lunar Silver Star is one of the most remade early games around. Thus, even a clothing or dragon companion mod would be very well loved! =3 I just wish I was a modder so I could start the project. I keep trying to learn from tuts, but they get so complicated, and some of the steps listed are options I don't seem to have, etc.
