To the joyous sounds abound.

Put on your best rags,

and get to the street in time,

for the Rag time parade!

 

Everyone's invited to chant,

and prance,

The Rag Time Parade is,

everyone's dance.

 

It begins in the cave,

becomes a rage,

as it begins the rave,

Romancing the stone.

 

The leader calls out,

"Open Sesame! :sweat: "

opening the door.

Children bolt first,

to their play.

 

Into the mornings' early light,

out to the streets delight's,

celebrating the heights of yesterday,

we can reach while,

we make it another mile,

aimed to returning to warm those chills,

to the bone undone,

when we see,

we will soon feel the warmth,

from the SUN.
