stormcrowketo
Please help me before I go insane!! I'm trying to install the Beware of Girl mod using FOMM. I've downloaded the file, used FOMM's package manager to extract it, and activate it. I get three green checkmarks and it says it's ready to go. However, it DOESN'T SHOW UP IN FOMM! All I ever see on that screen is the FalloutNV.esm file. I've tried extracting the file using 7zip to the default file listed and the data file for New Vegas. They show up when I browse those locations. I've also gone in and changed the archiveinvalidation default files as listed in several of the forum posts. What am I missing? I feel like an idiot. Savage117
Have you started your game to see if it's working? I don't think this mod uses a .esp or .esm file to function, it's only replacing textures and meshes.
FlyingHigh10000000
Dude take a pill and calm down. First off, it's a game. Don't stress out over it. Second, if it's the body replacers, which I'm pretty sure you're referring to, using FOMM to install it, and getting the green-light from it is normal. The body replacer doesn't use an ESM or ESP. It's a bunch of textures placed into the correct folders by FOMM. As long as it's checked in the package manager, and you have ArchiveInvalidation activated, you're good to go. stormcrowketo
The problem is it doesn't show up on the manager. After I extract it and go throught the setup process to get my three green checkmarks telling me it's ok, It never shows up as a mod. The only thing that gets listed is the default FalloutNV.esm. I've played the game a couple of times since then and nothings different. Thank you for your help.
SoberBarn
You need ArchiveInvalidation. That makes sure you textures are actually replaced.
