IkeCoast
Wait. What are you trying to do with the dds plug-in? And why is it in the root GIMP folder? According to the included readme: gimp-dds 3.0.0 (C) Copyright 2004-2013 Shawn Kirst <[email protected]> To install, extract these files to your GIMP plugins directory. This directory is usually located at: C:\Program Files\GIMP 2\lib\gimp\2.0\plug-ins
lupicatalum
I thought it was a self extracting archive lol. so I just put the exe in the plugins directory?
IkeCoast
Ehr, yes. Same for the normalmap plug-in. About that "not reading the readme file"... Cheers!
lupicatalum
I did read the readme lol. I thought that it was a self extracting archive and I needed to point to the plugins directory for the extraction. I have never seen a plugin for anything in the form of an exe
IkeCoast
Most plug-ins for advances software are indeed exe files. Now install the normalmap plugin and let's see what happens. Cheers!
