Collaboration Expansion Packs

I made a topic on this recently looking for info on some mod collections but had only 1 result offered to me.

 

Now i know this is a place for specific requests and honestly i consider this a real one.

 

Basically i have a dream of there being a collaboration of sorts that brings together some of the best mods into 1 single install expansion (or many of these expansions)

 

For example, taking perhaps a dozen of the best, top notch, quest and new lands mods and working to combine them into and official unofficial add on pack, cutting out the working with boss, wryebash and the like and just checking the esp to make it work.

 

I don't mean to see all of the mods ever release in this way, just perhaps maybe even an end of the year collection of the "files of the month".

 

Just some food for thought and hopefully healthy discussion.

Hmmm, there are a number of large mods, the Top Oblivion Quests Link, Elsewere; Deserts of Aniquia, Dune and Underdark are just a few. The problem with merging all the top files is that they probably wouldn't all be compatible, even after cleaning (which in itself is a moderate task). I wasn't able to clean Blood and Mud with Blackwood on the same list for some reason. Maybe I'm inept, but some conflicts are harder for me to fix.

 

It would be nice to see some sort of town and castle merge mod though, offering all the best castles and towns. Only problem with that is the filesize and some homes are literally in the same real estate.

 

It would also be cool to make a merge of some highlights of the best files of the year. That would be awesome.

I think the biggest issue would be the size of the file download for such a compilation.
