AldenArt
Hello all, I have just recently downloaded the Ivellon mod and everything seemed to be okay. However it appears that not everything is as it should be: the books are present in their place but there are no words in them, even at the tomb in Cheydinhal; the cloud tower is there but only the door shows up and not the actual tower itself. When I went inside things seemed okay but then I got to a certain point in the caves where I suppose I should have been transported to the next area but instead I came to a bunch of objects representing what should have been there and after getting close to it, the game crashed. Now of course I ran the installer and set it to install to the oblivion folder and then I added the patch to the oblivion data folder. Did I miss something? Can anyone tell me what's going on or point me to whoever would know? I have oblivion version 1.2; is there maybe a newer version or something? Please help! Thank you. majikmonkee
Almost certainly something didn't install properly. Have you added many mods before? One problem I used to run into was having Oblivion as one of my Program Files subdirectories, and Windows Vista didn't allow changes to the folders holding meshes etc. In other words, it let me check and run the mod, but the required files weren't there so it caused isses. Balakirev
What's your mod list, in load order? And have you tried leaving Ivellon, saving the game, and reinstalling the latest version of Ivellon? Make sure, too, that you have the latest Ivellon patch installed.
