SGTbayk47
Hey all, I'm currently making a new weapon mod, and have absolutely no idea how to fix this bug. When I drop the weapon, it just stays in the air, and cannot be picked up, despite there being a collision mesh in nifskope and blender. If anyone knows how to fix it, it will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, bayk.
DopeChuck
Not sure how to fix this personally, if you're still having a problem maybe this thread could help you.
ArekkusuStorm
NopeChuck is on the right track. The havok data in your collision mesh is not working/is not added if your weapon floats. I'm not sure what program you're using but for Blender here's how to do it. 1. Select your collision mesh and make sure you have these selected. You can replace HAV_MAT_CLOTH with something else like HAV_MAT_METAL. 2. After that, export under these settings. Choose "weapon" under collision settings and then the corresponding material from up top (cloth, metal, etc) and make sure the settings on the left and right column are the same. After that, export and you're done. Edited April 5, 2015 by ArekkusuStorm
SGTbayk47
It worked! :D Thanks for the reply, now I won't need to use a gun runner box for the dropped version, and can finally release the mod. :P
