Make7
Ok, thinking of creating a class in game but I am kind of stuck on the line of spells I want to create for it, does anyone know the mana progression per lvl like how much you get as you lvl and maybe what the modifier is for 1 Int Point = This much mana.
AdamNeko
To the best of my knowledge, spells given to the player on starting are dependant upon what schools of magic the class specializes in, eg major skills. There is no possible way to give a specific class spells while not giving them to others is nigh impossible. Races, however, can start with spells, powers, abilities and whatnot. Hope that answers that question. I'm not sure what the mana progression is, I think it depends on how much your intelligence increases and whatever mana boosts you have.
Peregrine
I think you'd have to make a new race. Of course if you copied the existing models and everything, just adding new starting spells, it would be pretty much the same as a new class. Kethruch
Is this for an existing mod that you're looking? The 'mana' I believe you are talking about are spell points, which are at a 5:1 ratio to your Intelligence. Your starting spells depend upon your proficiency in the governing skill. i.e. if you start with a very low restoration, you'll probably get no spell. If you have a moderate or better, you'll get hearth heal. (I found this out by creating a "test race" and fooled around with different things to start with). Whether it is in your major, minor, or common skills is irrelevant. This can be seen normally with how many magical characteristics you see for ingredients when your alchemy skill is at different levels. As far as a class goes, there are no spells that are class dependent - anyone can use any spell.
