Spunkydamunky Posted September 20, 2006 Share Posted September 20, 2006 Hi, i have a couple of questions, i downloaded the Vincente Malforte companion mod and decided to change it a little bit: (These are things i wrote as comments to the file) 1. In CS i made Vincente a woman, but what if i want hair from Rens beauty pack? I'm not so good at modelling or anything.. 2. I made her a wood elf to, but she talks with at dark elf/high elf voice. 3. Is there anyway to change npc's height?, because she is as tall as an Imperial, and a want her to get as small as normal wood elfs are. Look in that mod for the hairstyle you want, then go into the cs and load up ren's beauty pack.. In the menu at the top, select character, then hair from the drop down menu, Find the hair you want in that list, and note down the nif and dds file used for the hair. They're on the buttons on the right. Also note which boxes are ticked. Now load your own mod, and go to the hair menu. Right click in the list on the right and select new. Add in the nif and texture for the hair you want, tick the same boxes and give it a name. Then you can attach it to her with the facegen. 2. I don't have a clue about dialogue. Sorry. 3. Go to where she is placed, and select her. Then hold down 'S' and drag the mouse up or down to alter the height. Simple. Learn from this, so that you need never ask for help with hair or resizing again. As long as you learned, I'm happy. WarKirby Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

There is no female wood elf version of his dialogue, so he (she) will use the original lines. ----Off topic: The voice acting is weird though... My npc Alex for example, is a dark elf. Spunkydamunky Posted September 22, 2006 Author Share Posted September 22, 2006 Hi, thankyou for the great replies, i figured out my self how to make her smaller, but what i ment about dialouge is you know when the npc's says "Hi" or "How are you?" and stuff like that, am i not able to change that voice to another, f.x. using an Imperial female voice or something? Also to post #1 You say i should load my own mod, by that you mean the Vincente mod?, Also i figured out that i save the hair i made but i'm not able to choose it to the npc its just the normal hair i can choose from? You mention "the Facegen" and then i was thinking: Is it the program FaceGen or just the normal face editer in CS? And if that could be the problem why i couldnt choose the hair? Also i came across another question, are you able to edit youreself (the player) in cs? i mean what if i want to have a face of an npc? Sorry for all these posts, but i'm not very good at modding, but one day i hope i'll be as good as you guys, and make Oblivion even better than it is with brilliant mods :D Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
