Outrageous and Uncalled for!

For hours we had to put up with trouble makers in the chat.

I even reported the problem specifically to admin due to the chat even being so long.

 

I USED IT.

 

By the time even a chat moderator arrived one had already left, but one had remained.

 

We informed him immediately about it and action was taken.

 

That was the end of it.

 

Now EVERYONE involved in such a small amount of log has been issued a strike.

 

THIS IS DIGRACEFUL!.

 

I have been out celebrating my mothers birthday all day and come back to find this personal insult to both me, ZombieUK, aceistheman and zaty1.

 

If reporting trouble making people and informing a chat moderator about it is "flamebaiting and a personal attack"

 

Then ban me now.

 

I have followed the rules, I report the trouble makers of the nexus and I know the terms of service very well.

We had to put up with the issue and also tried telling the people involved to be quite, but without moderators or admins to deal with them, there was little else we could do except leave the chat room. Why should we leave because a few members cannot abide by the rules?

Explain this to me?

 

I accept everything that happens here on the nexus but this is an insult, this is actually quite disgusting.

 

I do not agree with the strike at all. And I also bet that most people will agree with me.

And if I'm banned for posting my serious concerns about this, then so be it.

But I'll be damned if I'm going to let this attack go by unchallenged especially by an administrator I had much respect for.

Seems to me he explained pretty well why the strike. Whether you agree with it or not, it's just a strike. That's what strikes are for, so you get another chance. Way to handle it maturely, though.

KD, have you lost your mind? The way to do this would have been to write to Lon and make your case. I know him and he would hear you out.

 

But you know as well as I do that bringing it on the forums is a way to try to undermine authority and campaign for the outcome you want rather than to reason it through in a discussion. I do not understand how you can believe this kind of underhanded manipulation could possibly help your cause.
