Jacqui
So I'm just sat here and I start to think, "hey, why don't I make a new Xivilai race." Then I realised you can't do it straight up. Is there any possible way of evolving a creature to a race in CS?

Semtex
No, there is not "simple way" to transform creature to race. Creatures and races use different skeleton and animation. There is not simple way to transform creatures body parts to "racial" body parts. All "races" used same body parts for hands, upperbody, loverbody and feets. These parts are common for all races. You can simple change only tail and some parts of head. If you need something special, its must by created as clothing or armors and added to body via scripts Especially for Xivilai it is not very difficult - it has near standard body shapes and can by created directly from standard races. So, You need only new textures for body and face and some special parts of hairs or head. But it's a bit pointless - there are a few plugins, which is Xivilai race made very well.
