How to disable borders?

So I have played oblivion for a lot of time now and I got bored about the same and the same game, but I don't want to wait for TES V. I installed tons of mods, but I don't know how to remove borders so I could go to elswyr or other places.

Does any one knows of a tutorial video or can any one write how to do that?

There is also a moc called Borderless Cyrodiil that does this for you if you want to take the easy route.

This is actually the harder way.

 

Easiest way is to go into your ini and change the 1 to a 0 for bBorderRegionsEnabled.

No, that's called trying to change the wrong file, and having Oblivion installed in a protected directory such as Program Files.

 

The ini file you need to edit is located in Documents\My Games\Oblivion. Don't touch the one in your actual installation directory.

 

Next, I suggest you reinstall Oblivion outside of Program Files, which is a protected directory. Otherwise you're just going to run into many mod and utility related errors due to UAC. Install your game to a location that is not protected by UAC, such as C:\Games\Oblivion. Follow Bben's Installation Procedure for guidance.
