well ive got some good news, some bad news and some news that relates to nothing at all :D.

Here goes, im steadly working on my heros guild mod but alas i have completed only a littlebit. Then it hit me; im not experianced enought to do such a mod. So im tinkering around with it createing other mods and learning the construction set (along with alot of diablo II time).

Here are a few things im working on :D

In the book "The Doors to Oblivion" it speaks of a man with insane power. Zenas, made his way through the planes of oblivion and found Herminous Mora's (sp) Plane. Learning all of the forbiden knowlage made him all the more strong. With the new power he can only think of one thing, Power. He has tapped his phyiscall str. and now what left. Conqure(sp) Tamrial.

His former apprintice(sp god is suck) whom worshiped the ground he walked on has come too you to stop Zenas (btw i cant remember his first name Medorian or somthing). Zenas is increadbly powerful from his stay in the deadric planes. His Magicka is next to limitless and his spells are stronger then any before seen on tamriel...tamrial (am i pathetic?).

This is where i fail, the diolauge has no voice what do i do :'(.

So what you think about the mod? i think its okay and it gives me alot practice :D scripting building stuff and what not. any input is welcome :D :D :D :D :D :D :D find a flaw in my mod let me know i love to fix it. and im working on the other mod if anyone is intersed thanks for the time

Try something easier. This sounds like a large project, with significant scripting and dialogue requirements. That is in addition to alot of planning/worldbuilding stuff.

You may want to try for something less complicated, like a quest to find someone, and lead them back home, or collecting animal pelts in exchange for items or money. Just pick something fairly simple that still requires some scripting/dialogue stuff, with a little bit of general planning/worldbuilding.

As for adding voices to dialogue, I believe this doesn't work very well, even if you have someone to supply the voice. I'm not familiar with any mods that actually have this working. Needless to say, getting sound to work with dialogue should be the last thing you do since by then you'll have all your lines ready, and can record them all at once. You'll also already have a completely working quest which could be released and enjoyed even if you don't get the voices working right.

Spoken dialogue has definately been done.

  • The Weather Wizard (by Kweeky)
  • Avelar's Armory (by Nezroy)
  • The Storyteller's Brother (author unknown.)

All 3 have voice acting. Admittedly the quality of the acting in the second one is rubbish. But the other two are pretty good. I believe all these can be found on tessource, except maybe the last one. I got it on Planet Elderscrolls
