Creating Accordion-like tubes in Blender

So how do I create these accordion like tubes, that look kind of like this

They don't need to be long, but yeah. How do I do this?

For a basic shape, I'd suggest making a cylinder, then doing loop cuts around the circumference of it until it's about how many loops you want on it. Next, loop select every other ring on it and shrink those down.
