Everything in the steam interface/streaming settings are as you have them.

Here is a screenshot of my computer screens when I'm running gamecompanion to make Fallout 3 fullscreen. http://i.imgur.com/W3frFI1.png

As for your first post, I'm not sure that steam isn't able to access my tv screen. Other games work perfectly fine. Fallout NV, Skyrim, ect. They all boot up normally and are fully functional. Fallout 3 is the only game that's having problems.

There are no options within my UEFI that have anything to do with HDMI. There are very few settings in there period, unfortunately.

Have you done this? I've not seen a picture of you running FOMM, so I don't know what information you're requesting.

Please understand, data transfers, all web related stuff I use, I get charged for, all junk advertisements misc things that get downloaded into a system catch, I have to pay for.

I need you to use the site I give here (http://postimg.org) for all screen shots, the current one you have chosen is eating up my allotments.

I pay $5.00 dollars for 1 gig of data on tethering...if you do not know what that is, Google it.

I use it because it's 4gt speed.

Other wise I can only see the shot on a tiny screen on the phone here, 1 gig goes fast !

Do the math...it's not much to ask, "postimg.org" does not cost me anything for 1 *.jpg.

it all counts, the page, the borders, the scripts. all of it Count.

I use yup 1 gig on two large yahoo vid's and am back to zero access to the networks. so if you would please consider the costs?

You've not asked me to use that site before, so I didn't know I was supposed to be using it. This is the first time I've posted anything on these forums.

I apologize for any unnecessary data costs I may have caused.

Here is the photo of the error: http://s14.postimg.org/a9nibd169/Fallout_3_Error.jpg

Here is the photo of FOMM: http://s2.postimg.org/dmcxq5t7d/FOMM.png

Again, I apologize.

Edit: These photos look terrible. I uploaded them (I thought) at max resolution. I'll redo them.

On a desktop rig ,we might see something like this:

http://s26.postimg.org/bf9pfs0ll/msi_main_board.jpg

The above shows a VGA port, some lap tops have these too as well as a HDMI port.

there is a method to the madness going on here, as in all things, software and hard ware require a series of events to go in a sequence of install as in the the games, they too have a "load order" as to over write and establish who is king on the system, this shot shows no HDMI but it is only an example.

If your lap top has both? the n the OS needs to boot with theVGA first and all it's configurations done in advance of HDMI.

then re-establish the newer hard ware setups in sequence of events so things with the OS and game are in "sync" and in order.

the shot shown in fomm is a detail that is not spoken of much, it is visual-basics encoding process that enables the graphics driver access from the softrware involved.

should the hard ware be greyed out? that information is what I am after. some times it can't even see it at all...if that's the case? then the drivers were never installed correctly for 32bit games or display.

every thing has a place.

I can't read it, but your right ,it is bad, so set the system main display up at a lower resolution.

from the fomm shot, i can tell it's greyed out, that means it's invisible to steam as well, steam has no access to the screen drivers.

I wait for better shots.

My laptop does have a VGA port. I do not, however, have a VGA cable. It is possible that there may be issues with the drivers. I just recently (about a month ago) completely reset my computer and reinstalled the OS onto my SSD. My driver disk didn't automatically install all of the drivers because it was for windows 8, not windows 8.1. FOMM says the graphics adapter is set to the integrated junky graphics card, and it's greyed out.

EDIT: I took a capture of just the FOMM window so it should be clear here: http://s4.postimg.org/wr13wgc6l/Capture.jpg

yeah, damm.

well, I told whats needed and you told me what the problem is ,and no I am not there to inspect the system or hard ware. But there is the problem clearly.

what you might try? ...wait and get that cable....I am puzzled ,is there are cable for VGA that came with the TV set ?
