It's rare that you find people as helpful as you have been. Thanks a bunch.

If I beat this game of tech, my motives are plenty, I might have you test a mod for me of my own making...100% all mine.

minor instructions and the hardware fits right in with my plans.

find and eradicate all data residing in any "temp folders", windows 8 has a bunch of hiding places too.

in the games own folder...look for this extention (*.cfg) <....delete that. run the game launcher.

it will run, fomm say's it will so its' a hardware fault verses a software war taking place.

if in a cybernetic world, do as it does, remove the bottle necks and clear the paths so the data will flow.

@M48A5, I noticed that. I figured it would get resolved once I followed all of @Purr4me's instructions.

@Puur4me, you just lost me on those last few replies. Lol

EDIT: @Purr4me, if we get this figured out. I'll be sure to give the mod a go.

This is the post that lost me. Aren't .cfg files configs? Would I want to erase all of those? If you're telling me to delete them, they must automatically come back after I run the game launcher again. I just want to make sure I'm not deleting something that's important. Lol

ok intel dll trick has been covered....you did download and install it correct ?

I don't believe you have mentioned a dll trick in this thread. If you've mentioned it in another, I've not seen it. Could you link it?

ok I will post links to shots I am about to create from scratch ,I have a clean running game "fallout 3" I can instruct steam to run it as you have.

I then can connect the hdmi cable I have to both the TV set and PC and reboot, set things up as you have yours.

does not prove much, but in a hardware sense is close to the same thing...all my hardware and software's are installed correctly though as I am running on a VGA cable and use HDMI instructions bypassing hardware requirements all together.

but that's me..I can reconfigure the machine to do my bidding.

Note: not always successful ...LOL but I have fun doing things way out there.

You have a couple of things going on before you even get to launch the game. You don't need Steam at all. Fallout 3 was never a steam game. You have the FOMM launcher set for windowed mode, yet use Game Companion to launch full screen. I can't see the sense in that. Just launch full screen from FOMM.

I have read that you can have the game use the GTX instead of the Intel chip. I never paid much attention to them since I have a desktop with a dedicated graphics card. The duplex chips do not work well with this game. They usually do not make the change from 2D to 3D when the game changes.

Configuration files have an .ini extension.
