Genzel
We should definitely have a landscape that isn't completely flat. You can make so much more if you have hills, cliffs, and bodies of water to work with. Can't wait for pistons :D
CommanderCrazy
they're actually more like a hydraulic ram then a piston...Just sayin.
thecrazydudesrd
Hidden wall mansions!!! What's behind the bookshelf? Anywho, I said I'd let you all check out this texture pack I've been working on... it's still half way done, but most of the original blocks are changed... I have it in three sizes right now... For those who don't want/or can't use HD... x16http://www.mediafire.com/?4x0j1j4r6ecxf1n And for those who want a bit more x32, and x64 (but please forgive the pixels on some of the objects... the terrain got blurred as I increased the size) http://www.mediafire.com/?4ybw1vaban1yljj http://www.mediafire.com/?05c97rz6gc6sf7p http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g210/TheCrazyDudeSRD/SRDTexturepackx64WIP-4.jpg A small view of what's been changed... ignore the grass for sugarcane in the pic, its in the 64 only... it's all still a work in progress. I'm also working on getting the ice and cobble right. Edited June 16, 2011 by thecrazydudesrd
ub3rman123
If you don't want blur when you enlargen the texture and instead it keeps the pixels to the right size:In GIMP, using the scale tool, set the Interpolation to None instead of whatever it is. I'm not sure if we'll be able to do walls that move more than one block unless we somehow make pistons chain-activate.
Ethre
Thank you for sharing SRD. :) In the x32 version I'm seeing a partial framework around vertical torches. Looks like that is present in your picture too?
ub3rman123
I dunno why, but I can never find a good iron door texture. Painterly's had a good vault door style, but it's 16 bit which looks out of place when added to a 64 bit texture.
lostone1993
anyone seen the piston video yet, it is epic with the hidden doorway
