Some of you guys might actually like this one.

I present:

Decoratives Mod!

 

Most notable features:

• - Chairs that you can sit on! (Both normal and chairs with arms)
  - Tables! (They can be tiled so you can make desks too!)
  - Stained Glass (Yes! What glass SHOULD be in Minecraft, also comes in a variety of different colours)
  - Carpet! (No longer replace a block and see it in your ceiling downstairs, just put carpet on your floor! (Or stairs!))
  - And more stuff that doesn't really excite me :P

Is the server still online? I cannot seem to connect.

 

Also, does anyone know of any flat seeds? I really am sick and tired of all these jungle biomes. Seems like every map I create is filled with nothing but trees. I just want a semi flat map with mountains.

As for flat seeds.

There isn't really much on the plate for flat seeds in this version.

Annoyingly all you seem to run into when you load a world now is Jungles, Swamps and Endless Oceans.

I swear this game is getting worse for Generation.

I try getting on when I have time.

My renewed lust for a zombie apocalypse has seen to it that I am now building an entire world space for New Vegas http://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/facepalm.gif

But I go on the server when I get really burned out from it though. There's only so much I can do before a brain cell or two just implode. :P

Recently got back to minecraft and tried to connect to the server but I'm ether disconnected because it takes too long to log in or it fails to verify my username.

 

Also started watching a tekkit lets play on youtube and I started wondering, would it be possible to install tekkit on the server using multiverse or something like that?

Tekkit is bad. Essentially the people running it decided to just gather mods together without permission, release their pack without too much bug fixing or quality control, and then refused to take mods out even when authors requested. The mod pack is almost never updated properly, and most of the mod developers who are included in the pack have personally made aspects of their mods get broken by a tekkit install.

 

For a server situation, you pretty much have to know what you're doing when you install mods.

 

 

If we could get a few people together for a weekend or something, what might be fun is to do a whitelist only run of Feed The Beast. I have a run through insane in solo mode at the moment, and it's entertaining with how much you have to build and figure out.
