Ethre
A delayed hello from me Alonso. ;) Yes, if I can get these chunks fixed up we can bring back inventories. I'm playing around with the main chunk problem right now - but its looking like its a larger issue than I first thought. It seems to have affected more than just the immediate area around spawn. I'm trying to get track it all down, but we may have to look at other options. Unfortunately I've neglected to update the backup over the last couple of weeks so that's not really an option. Edit: And planetoids should be a valid possibility if desired

KDStudios
Actually I've been doing some digging. Constant Worldedit usage alongside lack of world backups can cause serious world corruption... Sounds perfectly plausible that it could cause some corruption. Kinda my fault not to have a recent backup though. Still working on it. I've got it isolated pretty well, but can't seem to repair it entirely. I might try deleting the entire region. Hmmm I'd like to congratulate the player who walked for what must have been literally days in a trek to nowhere. That was impressive. You doubled the width of the map (though only in a thin strip). That's impressive.

KDStudios
That may have been me and yoba looking for dungeons in a north direction, but I don't believe we actually went out that far. So most likely wasn't us.I know it got laggy as hell the further we went though. We ported back to spawn and everything went back to normal after a quick relog to make sure the server shuts down that section of the map. KDStudios
Speaking of far distances, has anyone ever been to the "Far Lands"? Reference: http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Far_LandsI would really love to go there. It looks like a fantastic stretch of land. Shame it's -almost- impossible to get there and laggy as hell when you enter it :( Edited August 16, 2011 by KDStudios
