req Cloud Mesh + Textiure

I'm making a mod that includes buildings floating in mid air... I would like to have clouds for them to be floating on, as this is a mages guild, and it seems the kind of thing mages would do...any help? or, better yet, can anyone point me to a cloud mesh-download?

It would, especially since clouds are of random sizes and shapes, and having it look realistic would need several thousand polys.

dang... I mean, I knew the sky was a huge texture, I was just hoping someone may have made one or two anyway...

Have you looked at the nifs under /fire and /effects?

Pretty interesting stuff there...

oh...that brings me to something else: my tes_mod manager won't extract anything... dunno why...

thanks, I'll check there...

Maybe the fog like effect you can find in many ayleid ruins? Using multiple at one spot could make a thick cloudlike thing. Would give a performance hit though.

If you really want a cloud, Peregrine will probably do it for the right price.

haha Peregrine will never live that down.

sounds like an awesome mod, like to see it happen.

I agree with Warkirby, if you can get the almost $4000 3DSMax, it will take many hours making clouds. :D

hmmm... there's a mesh for stone and normal dust clouds... once my mod manager regains the capability of extracting, I'll check if that works... it should be pretty cool, seeing as it's a scrolling effect and all, it'll look like the building's trying hard to stay in the air, and the dust is coming from it :)
