ENB/Graphics issue

Greetings,

so I recently reinstalled Skyrim since apparently I never get bored of this game, yet I have an annoying issue I'd like to fix, with the community help.

I have a pretty decent RIG, here it is:

i5 3570k 3.8Ghz
EVGA GTX 770 3GB
16GB DDR3 Corsair
Z97 Mpower MSI

SSD hard drive

Windows 8.1 64bit updated daily.

27" Asus VX279 Monitor, 1920x1080.

The system is clean, I only have Steam+Skyrim so far, fresh from a format.

After trying something like 20 different ENBs, these are the results:

high end ENB with maxed graphics : 30 fps if I'm lucky. It's fine, I just wanted to test them, I don't need the best graphics around to enjoy the game.

low end ENB with maxed performances : 40 to 60 fps.

I am not a fool, I followed every single step instructed by the modders, yet I can't get to the result I want.

I just wanna play Skyrim with a decent ENB at 60fps stable, no matter where I am. Is my RIG not good enough, or what?

Hi

You can up the frame rate by switching off DoF in the enbseries.ini

I went from 34FPS to 47FPS average at 2650 X 1440 with a GTX 980 with it off.

I ran some tests last week using RealVision ENB.

My rig.

I7 2600k

8 gb ram

GTX 980

Samsung UD590 UHD monitor

I tested out side of Lakeview Manor. No texture packs, 240+ mods mostly NPCs & armour.

4k without ENB 84FPS

4K with ENB 20FPS (not playable)

1440 without ENB 89FPS

1440 with ENB 47FPS (Playable)

1080 without ENB 128FPS

1080 with ENB 61FPS

My GTX 970 could run ENB in the high 50s at 1080 & my GTX 680 was only about 5FPS slower.

You will not get into the 60s with your card but you should be able to get into the high 40s.
