Fallout 1 & 2 Companions

I'll start by saying sorry if this has been requested already.

 

Anyways, I've seen folks are already working on Fallout 3 companions for NV and that's swell and all, but what about the original companions? I'd love to see them all brought back and recruitable in NV, voiced or not that would rock. Heck, even having them all chill in Jacobstown with Marcus as NPCs and not companions would be awesome I think.

I guess the reason, that they are mostly dead or very old to the date of fnv doesn't concern you much? This mod won't happend. Because those, that care about them, also care about fallout lore and therefore understand, that it makes no sense at all, and those, that don't care about fallout lore also don't care about those companions.

True but in Fallout their is a loophole for this issue, namely the Cafe Of Broken Dreams.

 

Anyways since the original poster has played classic fallout you may be interested in a lot of my threads, (I can't mod at all, but I can make outlines, and I connect threads together etc.)

 

I've gotten a modder to help re-create Cassidy (Cass' Badass Father) based on his talking head from Fallout 2 (which was cut before he had a voice so it wasn't in the game)

The Thread is at "a certain (below ground) forum" however. under Cassidy, Cass' Father from Fo2

Dogmeat is everywhere on the nexus,

 

K-9 (Robo-dog) I'm trying to get someone to create (Rex does not count, we're talking fully robotic, plus no damn bloody brains showing)

 

There are Marcus companion mods as well, (you could add more voice by using Fallout 2 if you wanted)

 

Sulik is not being made by anyone as of yet. =[ I miss that crazy bone-in-nose tribal.

Ian from Fallout 1 is not being made.

 

Tycho from Fallout 1's Junktown is not being made at the moment however it was said he came from Neveda so he'd be a good choice for Fallout New Vegas.

(He was only descrbed as, "a man in dusty leather armor with a trenchcoat and gas mask")

 

Myron (Inventor of Jet drug, Overall scumbag) is not being made at the moment.

No word yet on Goris (Intelligent Deathclaw), there are deathclaw mods galore, yet I don't know if any of them are grey. (and no one could animate a deathclaw to throw on/off a robe so forget about that)

Skynet is not being made as far as I know, but he'd be an easy companion to create, then just voice him with a lifelike text-to-speech program or use a robotic voice tutorial

 

Davin/Miria are no shows. (Since she's a total skank, and Davin "like likes" brahmin when no ones is around.)

 

Ulysses is most likely going to be added in DLC. As stated by Chris Avellone (Who is the God Of All Things Related To Fallout, literally he wrote the fallout bible which states what in previous games is considered cannon.)

For those people who fail at being Fallout fans (You haven't played anything earlier than Fallout 3)

 

Here is a quote from the Vault (Fallout Wiki)

 

"Special encounters are random encounters, often non-canonical, and are unique compared to more common encounters which may consist of hostile NPCs. They usually serve as entertaining points of humor, though some are very dangerous (Mad Brahmins), while some grant access to unique, sometimes powerful loot (Bridge Keeper). Most of these encounters consist of humorous pop culture references or other games or even earlier Fallout games (The Cafe of Broken Dreams). "

Also here is Frank Horrigan The Main Bad guy from Fallout 2 ( And No He will not be a companion I find that....well stupid)

 

Hello ! I don't know if that would help you, but the Enclave Behemoth included in the Creature Resources and Mods, made by CIB in the Fallout 3 Nexus, really looks badass and close enough to the dreadful Frank Horrigan From Fallout 2

Yeah and It IS A MODDERS RESOURCE, so you can port it without his permission(since he may not play New Vegas), although give him credit Just letting everyone know,

Thanks simplywayne90, Yeah I seen Frank Horrigan but wasn't counting him. Just former companions. He looks pretty cool though. I have no idea how to mod so I won't pretend I do, but I may check out that link just because. Someone on the nexus has a Cafe of Broken Dreams mod going, but it's only for Fallout 3 companions and while I liked FO3 it's my least favorite of the series. Anyways, this was just an idea.

 

Also, Yossarian22 this IS the Request forum. I didn't ask if you cared about Lore, nor do you speak for every modder on this site.
