Hopefully that's going to be embedded...

Anyways I highly doubt that this dialogue wasn't done on purpose, I am sure now there will be a add-on that will have you play after you win the dam battle.

They should of already known the story 100 before they did the voice acting and scripting, so no way it was a mistake to have these lines in...

So is there already a addon or something? I am sure there will be one at some point...

There will be no dlc like Broken Steel for New Vegas, Obsidian has stated many times that it won't happen, thats just left over dialogue from when they where experimenting with the idea of having an open ending, but fortunately they realized they wouldn't have enough to time to develop the large amount of post game content, and that having an open ending would greatly impact the quality of the ending.

It's really too bad that its not going to be open ended. Oh well, I consider Fallout New Vegas to be a DLC off of Fallout 3 anyway.

and there are also mods to play after the main quest

Read up on it here

too bad, just finished the game for ceasers legion. but the game was ver nice! really enjoyed it. next time will play for the NCR with energy weapon focus. just I wonder: what will the dlcs include? I mean, BS made it an opening ending, and the other addons, added some extra area, whcih for me seemed sometimes very heartless. I liked BS the most. but then again, it would be VERY hard to make a BS kind of dlc for vegas, due to the intense different ending possiblities

No chance for a second Broken Steel DLC....

Obsidian is responsible for all three DLCs and they are only planning 3-4 DLCs so far...

1. "Sierra Madre"

2. "Area 51" and an unknown 3rd or fourth DLC....

But Bethesda have to force Obsidian to do a "Broken Steel" DLC but this is hardly possible...

Maybe it would be a reason for Obsidian to cancel their plans to do any further DLC...

--------------------

If Obsidian refuses to do a DLC like Broken Steel there wont be such a DLC...

If they don't make a DLC, then the community will, there is already many mods out there that extend Fallout:New Vegas after the end of the main quest line. I am guessing that what ever is created by the community or Obsidian, it is going to be big and awesome.
