A few things; the way shirnes are numerous. there are about 4 for each god. My first char did all of them without trying (not boasting). I've never heard of that "1 infamy point renders it uselss" thing, but then again it won't effect my new knight char (74 .fame, 0 infamy). There have been numerous reports that it will be availible as downloadable content guys, so don't think it will boost ps3 too much. And about modding the DLC? well, some off the plugins i can boot up, but some i can't. LIke the vile lair, i get some form of error if i try to load it. -sigh-

I was right! They will release it for PC and XBOX360, Rejoice!!! And it will be released on the 21st as downloadable content AND Quote: "Knights of the Nine will also be available as a Windows boxed product at retail on the 21st. The retail version of Knights of the Nine is a compilation that will include all the other Oblivion downloadable content released to date: Horse Armor, The Orrery, Wizard’s Tower, Vile Lair, Thieves Den, Mehrunes’ Razor, and Spell Tomes." End quote. They also mentioned that the, just read it yourself.

...I also heard you will have to do pilgrmiages (spelling?) to the shrines of The Nine (they're not on the map!). That will take hours. I can only imagine the frustation when you cant find the last one...

The last one I ever manage to find is invariably a Kynareth Shrine. The trick is, Kynareth shrines never stick near roads, so you have to go deep into the wild in order to find one. The easiest one to find is the one in County Kvatch where one of the Master Trainers camps by (if she's not off chasing deer).

And finally some heavy armor for the "good guys"

High-class armor is overrated. My latest character conducted the entire Main Quest in a town guard's uniform (she blended well with the thin grey line at Bruma). It had to be enchanted in order to work, but with the right enchantments you're as good with that as wearing full Glass or Daedric.

My point being, a "good guy" can easily get away with bright Steel or Mithril armor that rivals the protection of Daedric, if he plays his cards right while cracking down Oblivion Gates.

Bethesda is so proud of their Knights of the Nine plugin that they put it above and under every other plugin they have, to make sure you don't miss it.

 <--- Link

Wow.

Now thats desperate marketing! They should of just put it first.... Noooo they had to mess with your head and put it everywhere. 155 mb! *aaaaah*

It's 155MB of pure, undiluted crap.

What, have you played the mod? Do you know actually know the entire content of it? Why is evreyone insulting bethesda like Windows? And I think if its over 150mb then its probably got lots of content.

And I think if its over 150mb then its probably got lots of content.

Morrowind install media: 584 MB

Bloodmoon install media: 511 MB

Oblivion install media: 4280 MB

Knights of the Nine install media: 155 MB

On an engine where data files are at least seven times as bloated, Oblivion's "expansion" is just a little under a third of the size of an actual expansion done in the NetImmerse engine.

Maybe if it had about 22-23 times the install size, I'd be waiting to see just how awful it is --- but seeing as how this plugin should be worth $US1.81 at the maximum, and it can't even keep its lore straight, I think it's fair to just assume the worst.

Of course, Bethsoft shills like you are free to question my reasoning --- and I'm free to not care anymore.

How about this: if you want me to continue this discussion, how about you pay me $US2.89 for the "nouns" expansion, then $US2.44 for the "verbs" expansion. It's a real steal, from where I'm coming from.

I'm just throwing this idea out there; why would they work for free? They see that you guys should have horse armor in your game, so they make it for you. Thats their JOB, they get paid to do it. They don't get paid to do nothing, and they don't do anything without pay.

I think they could've included the horse armor in the game though, instead of making a 1.99 plugin out of it...

Once again... WHERE THE HELL IS MICHAEL KIRKBRIDE?

What do you mean with this? Was it conflicting with the lore or something? I believe you said something about that when the Vile Lair was released...
