What do you guys think of it?

The new PS3 controller looks very similar to the xbox 360 controller AND I WANT TO HAVE THIS! I always liked the xbox controller more so yes, I definately get this.

But...don't you think it's a kinda xbox controller fake too?

I mean its shaped like an xbox controller, the home button (the lights) look almost the same as the xbox controllers so yea..Sony just faking Microsoft?

Hey is this a third party oor the real thing, ever since the new update they removed that support.

I don't know about standard usb controllers support though.

I'd like to see that sold in UK, I really do not like the PS3 controller. I even bought some things that clip onto the triggers and rubber covers for the sticks, they improved things a little but it still feels horrible.

Your only wasting your money, they removed third party support from the ps3 as of 3.50fw, Warning do not buy.

I am saying this only to the people with 3.50 or above.

you do know that the xbox controller almost looks the same as the dreamcast layout of the controller but . so xbox kinda stole or used the idea from the dreamcast for their controller but added a few more buttons so it wouldnt look exactly like the dreamcast , but now it seems sony chooses to make the new ps3 controller look totaly the same as xbox , i mean like the button layout but its not illegal so . but i dont realy believe this is realy going to be a real thing . because the ps3 controller has been very succesfull with the design it used with the ps1 and 2 and also used it for the ps3 so why should they change the possition of the left joystick and make it the same as the xbox controller and the one thing that makes it realy look fake is that the home button has changed also . the ps3 controller has the ps icon as a home button so it realy doesnt make sense why they should change that also . i'm not saying that there's realy no chance this is real because you'll never know you'll c the controller for sale in store's .

This reminds me of thesix-button Sega Genesis controller, in the sense that they are appearing to emulate their competitor's hardware. I am glad that they got rid of the Batarang controllers though, I hated those. My main issue with controllers in general is size, small controllers hurt my hands after a few hours. Instead of releasing the same controllers in 11 different colors, couldn't they make variable sized controllers?

That's a stupid rumor that's been blown out of proportion, most third party controllers still work including the one OP linked to.
