Resize Textures?

Hello, I've got a question (sorry if i chose the wrong section)

Say there's a texture mod that only has a 4K version, if I manually resize it to 1K or 2K will I get a performance boost? Or resizing textures is just worthless?

Smaller textures do help with performance, yeah.

20mb to 5,5

and 10,6 to 2,7mb

Thanks a lot. Seems I'm going to resize some textures I've got to save some VRAM (and fix the damn cell loading stutter)

It's going to take some time, yeah, but at least it'll be worth! :D
