Creature dialogue help

So i am making a mod that adds an diner to fallout and the diner is owned by a gecko, but now i am having problem that when i go into the game the gecko doesn't want to talk. I have made a dialogue and i also checked "Allow PC dialogue".

I can't remember exactly how I got it working now, but in Nipton Rebuilt I have a molerat merchant, voiced and all. So you could download that mod, grab the .esp and open it in the GECK to see how it works :yes:

Does he have a greeting? If not he needs one one. If he has a greeting do you have conditions on that greeting? I'd recommend deleting all the conditions if you have any to see if he'll respond. If he will, when you have no conditions, then one of the conditions you were using was preventing the dialogue.
