Saving problem

Well I didn't found a solution for this problem so I decided to ask here for help.

I was playing Fallout NV before 1 month and got sick of it crashing all the time and decided to Uninstall it . But kept my old saves .

Now when I've Installed it over , I still had that saves but I wanted to start a new game , so i Did. And I went to my "C/Documents/User...." and deleted my old saves...

Everything was fine Until i found Out that when every I re enter the game OLD saves ( Quick save ) back up somehow.... I've deleted them 4 like 20 times...They always get back there and replace my "New" quick save files...

Its not possible to quick save and exit the game and hope to get back where you started coz the old Files are copied back over them...Don't know why , don't know how...they just appear...

I guess it has to do with the game ? Maybe some backup bug or a problem ?

Thank you

bet its something to do with steam backing up your saves

did you remember to turn off steam cloud

Nope...I dont use steam.. Btw I found how to solve it not temporeraly..... just type in console player.kill and let it load a game by its self and It should work then.

  • 2 months later...

if you have a hard copy and you dont install steam it will run without it

and if its a pirated copy so what

what can you do even call the internet police

there is always gunna be pirates even if it was legal i bet the ratio of pirates to buyers would be almost the same

get over it and help a brother out

The same applies to you, promoting the use of pirated material is a one way ticket off this site. User banned - TVD.
