majikmonkee
Leave it to me to request the impossible. It was a great outfit but I hate the J shaped butt cloak. Next question. Are there any mods that make your armor invisible so you just see skin for those slots, or any mods that let you wear one set of arrmor for stats but equip a second set (weightless preferably) for appearance? WastelandAssassin
well, i know of a mod that adds invisible armor, but it's for New Vegasnot sure if it's been made for Oblivioni don't have that mod, so i don't really know how it worksbut i think it will be possible for me to download it (if it isn't a big file) and try to figure out how it works, and then either make the same for you for Oblivion, or explain to you how to make it yourselfof course, you could just make an armor that uses your body mod as the model, so basically you will equip your naked (or whatever body mod you have) skin, and it can be as strong as you want it to be if you want, i'll try looking into this tomorrow
majikmonkee
Hmmm. You can if you want to. I was thinking about how in Everquest II, a lot of the high level gear looked stupid. The solution was for them to create two different sets of "armor slots" - one that was your actual armor providing your stats, and a second set that allowed you to put on armor for looks. Maybe if this was done with OBSE, there could be an item called "appearance armor" that when clicked, let you select different pieces of armor (one for each body area), and assigned zero weight but no stats to this armor, while making it actually be what showed on your character. Something to think about...
WastelandAssassin
not sure if this could be done (don't know much about OBSE, but i'm not really sure if something like this could be done, and if it could, how to do it) but i'll try to look into it tomorrow if i'll have the time, and see what i'll learn
Deleted1848331User
If you explain a bit more I may be able to do it, or help Waste with OBSE commands if needed. Did i mention its a lot of fun using OBSE to script? So much you can do with it and its addons. majikmonkee
Hmm. It would just mean equipping one set of armor like normal but somehow allow the player to equip a second set for looks only. Preferably without a weight penalty on the cosmetic set. Deleted1848331User
So... just basically a weightless clothes version, and a normal armored version?
majikmonkee
Yes. And only the weightless version would show. You'd get the stats from your real equipped armor.
