wolron
I went into the Hlaalu Council Building in Balmora and a fellow told me that I would need a land deed and this guy in Vivec would sell me one. So I went to Vivec (the Hlaalu Treasury) and found him. He sold me a deed worth 5000 for only about 3500 and I thought I had a real deal. The deed tells me where the Rathen Manor is. It is on the South East Shore of the River Odai, South of Balmora. So I go there. I search the area very thoroughly. No building to find. Do I need to build it now? Or, have I just purchased the Morrowind version of the Brooklyn Bridge? Alas, I have all this gold to spend and nothing to spend it on. Maybe someone will sell me a bridge, or a Tel, or a Dwemer Ruin, or a .... or a better pack Guar!!!!
Kethruch
Go back and check your dialog with the man in the Hlaalu hall in Balmora. Do exactly what he says. If you don't have it in your journal, repost here, and we'll fill you in further.
Switch
Don't you have to take the deed back to the builder person first in order to begin construction?
wolron
Thanks, I should have known that I would have to build it myself. Oh, well, I wondered what I would do with all this cash!
