Issues with race menu and face exchange

I still believe that it is an issue with conflicting head meshes. I'm not familiar with all of your race mods, but it seems to me that you have a mesh that's messing with some of your races. As I said earlier, Beautiful People is a known troublemaker when combined with other race mods. It may be worth uninstalling that for a start, then get to reading all of the readmes for compatibility issues.

I will do that, and again, thank you for your help. I will note that I did try to uninstall Beautiful People earlier this evening and then the game would not even load. As soon as I downloaded it and installed it again, the game loaded just fine. -_- I can uncheck it in OBMM and the game loads fine but that's obviously not the same as uninstalling it.

You need to run BOSS from the 'update' link and post the unknown mods from your BOSSLog. At the end you will see:

 

Unrecogised Mod Files

 

Reorder these by hand using your favourite mod ordering utility.

 

Post anything in this section.

first one probably goes anwhere among the other R18PN, & NoMouseWheelZoom just stops the camera panning in/out locking up, so the main difference will be which race mods take precedence on the list

hey angel, just a thought with the face textures, but if youve installed any texture mods like IFT Improved Facial textures, Natural faces, and/or Facial textures by Elanya, you could see if reinstalling them fixes things: I had mine reverted to vanallia once and reinstalling them (extracting the files to data foder again) fixed it. Dont know if theyre connected to your issue tho

DesuChan's Dolls.esp has already been added to the masterlist, though the update is not showing at this time.

 

I have submitted the others to the BOSS team for inclusion, so keep updating that masterlist.

After you uninstall Beautiful People you need to run BOSS and then rebuild your Bashed Patch again -- I cannot stress this enough. EVERY time you add, remove or edit a mod, BOSS then BASH. Go through all of the options, and if any remnants of BP are still checked off, uncheck them. All should be fine, then.

Yeah, I probably didn't think about it. I'm not used to having Bash. :) I did that and my game will load without Beautiful People now. I am loving this Bashed Patch! I still have the issues in the race menu though.

I think you need to uninstall all of your race mods, BOSS & Bash, and then reinstall them one at a time (BOSS and Bash after each install). That way you can either catch or rule out race/s that are causing the problem. Be careful to remove ALL traces of each race when you uninstall. If they weren't OMODs, then read the installation instructions to remove all traces.

 

Remember: BOSS and Bash after adding, removing or editing ANY mod.
