Nexus hacking

Makes you wonder what kind of morons we share this world with, huh?

Personally, I was not affected by this hacking, which is not too surprising considering there is 1,986,718 members (at the time of this comment, anyway), but I know how P/O'd Boone of the Wasteland would be, since that has happened to me before as well, but luckily Gmail caught on fast and halted the spam messages from being sent and locked my account temporarily.

HEllo i sent pm's to both bben and darkwolfe as i am concerned. I only just read hte message abotu the hackign on the 20th of dec, and I didnt yet change my password, however as i mentioned to them, I am still recieving some spam mail, [ altho i have a hotmail accoutn it does sometimes get thru] but worse than that is that I can no longer log on the website or forums as a registered member. I admit to being a Mod- hog! i love most of the new ones that come out and want to try them all, so hree i am wanting to dl and cannot! I tried to log on to change password and i cannot. I use a program that stores my passwords and personal info and i have not changed the pass etc, but circumventing that, i tried to type in the same info and I still cannot log on, I am truly truly concerned about the hacking issue, what info was comprimised and how can i regain a valid password to the site? please help!

I don't post much, but wanted to share this:

Slightly coincidental...

But could you not tell the police, if you've traced them and they are sharing or involved with CoD hacks, you could let Activision take care of them.

EDIT: Just checked my inbox, can anyone tell me why spam is always selling viagra?

The spam company must know you personally.

Only joking, a common problem I guess? I don't know LOL.

Although I'm seeing references to how to change your password I do not seem to have the choices described. I go to edit my profile and there's nothing there about settings. There's a different place called "My Settings" which also doesn't have the password change. I've used both kinds of navigation and never end up at a place where I can change my password.

Thank you very much. I've been trying to change my password at the main Nexus page. I had no idea I would have to go to the forums to change the password.
