Freezing shortly after starting the game

Hello !

 

First of all, please excuse my poor english, I'm only relying on what I learned at school and in various video games, so it might cause you to throw up all over your keyboard.

 

To begin, I've got a hugely modded game (over 160 mods + an ENB), but still the game worked fine until yesterday. The issue I'm experiencing is as follows : I load my game, and a few minuts later, the game freezes. Mostly when I'm attacking with a spell like Flames or Frostbite (the first enemy I hit = instant freeze), but when I simply use a sword It freezes during or after the fight, while in menus or just walking.

 

To be clearer : My game always freezes the same exact way, the screen stops moving totally (like a screenshot), but the sound doesnt go weird, it justs continues like nothing happenned, except no new "events" seems to happen. For instance, I'm trying to burn a bandit attacking me, so I cast Flames to him. A tenth of second after hitting him with the spell, the image freezes, but the music and the sound of the spell continues playing. Infinitely. I'm then forced to CTRL ALT SUPPR to close the game.

 

I tried to clean my mods with TES5EDIT, (removed lots of ITM doing so) used LOOT to sort the mods, tried to make my own load order, but nothing changes...

VRAM 2048 with all those texture/graphical enhancements might be loading you up a bit. A few tweaks to ENBLocal.ini to help:

You have a few Sound overhauls, flora overhauls and township overhauls. All of which can eat up resources. Maybe narrow down to 1 or 2 of each, and be sure they are compatible. You also have a few mods that add an abundance of NPCs to your world. Adding to the resource consumption. Try eliminating one or two of those as well. Enhanced Blood is a big cannibal of resources, consider reducing textures for this or removing it entirely. This and the sound overhauls could be the culprit for the freeze during combat. Be sure your HDT requirements are met for HDT mods, and be sure skeleton and anims are fixed up with XPMS and FNIS.

Hey ! Thanks for answering me. I tried all you said to me, and also removing ALL of these things you've pointed me, but still no effect. I freeze during fights or just walking, or even in the menus simply hovering the mouse over things... =/
