zombie00 Posted December 10, 2010 Share Posted December 10, 2010 (edited) Hi everyone, haven't post here in a while.I bet this isn't your favourite kind of topic since having to guess what some noob like myself did wrong during the installation process must be tiresome, but I have been trying to start playing oblivion again for a good couple of weeks now and I can get it to work: I'm sure I'm missing a compatibility mod or some other silly thing. Maybe you guys can lend me a hand pointing out what is wrong. First of all, I'd like to clarify that I have already installed the following tools/utility mods:-Wrye bash-BOSS-OMODX-TES4LODGEN-OBSEAnd that I'm somewhat familiar with them, I run Boss after and before installing or making any change to other mods, I have used bash and imported things from one ESP (all natural), ran TES4LODGEN after installing all the mods in the list and made almost all my installations using some sort of automatized system (either Omod or wrye). The game crashes every time I try to get to the character creation screen (after the intro movie); I tried using one of those saved games of already made characters inside the sewers and they work just fine, rats are smaller, range has been shortened and all seems to be as it should, but when I try to go out of the sewers or back into the prison the game crashes as soon as it starts to load the new area. I also tried turning all the mods off and walking outside the sewers and it worked just fine, I made a quick save in the wilds, exit the game, turn all the mods on again and use the quickload but it didn't work (as it was to be expected). If you need any other detail or information please let me know. Thanks to everyone in advance, I really hope I can get back to oblivion soon :D. None of the mods that I have installed should alter that part, yet when I turn all of them off, it works.At first I thought it was the banana-split better cities mod, but then I realise that the part of the prison were you start is a different map from the real imperial city prison; So it isn't that.
