domingoxxiv Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 Alright, so im trying to get the CBBE sliders to work in game. I see all of the face mods and texture mods that came with it when im in Char creation. But the silders do not change the character's body proportions when i move them. I looked up the FAQ for CBBE and i think i have this Problem. Q15: BodySlide fails to create the bodies I make. How can I get the meshes installed?A: Make your changes to the sliders, and then Ctrl+Click the 'Build' button. The femalebody_0.nif and femalebody_1.nif will then appear in the BodySlide folder. You will then need to copy these to your Skyrim/Data/meshes/actors/character/character assets directory, and allow any overwrites. You may need to copy these elsewhere if you use a standalone race/follower mod, so consult that mod's description/readme. But i dont not have the Meshes directory in my Skyrim/Data folder. Instead i find the meshes folder under the CBBE directory in my mods folder. Im also try to use a few manual install mods from the Nexus directory that require the Skyrim/Data/meshes. How do i fix this problem?
Vaelka Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 If the folders aren't there, just create them. Literally add a new folder in Data called Meshes and so on. It's common to not have some of these folders if you don't have a lot of mods yet. Cheers!

As long as you name & order the folders correctly, there won't be a problem.
Jeir Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 Thing is, if CBBE was installed correctly, those folders should already be there. They are added when CBBE/any other mesh/texture.whatever mod gets installed. Wait. Mods folder? CBBE directory?...Are you using MO? If so, you should be using MO to run BodySlide. Consult the BodySlide mod page. If you're using MO, then nothing mod-related should appear, or be placed in, your Skyrim/Data folders (as far as I'm aware - not a user of MO or NMM).
