Povuholo
Consoles are for kids. :P Everyone his own opinion  There are no bugs or glichesYou're saying the PC version has more bugs than the xbox version? I don't think so. We even have the unofficial patch which fixes at least three times the amount of bugs the official patch fixes. Unless you mean graphical glitches of course, that's the computers fault. Also no temptation for me to cheat It's not that hard to resist. Don't download cheat mods and disable the console :) the grafics are also way better becouse my computer glihed on very high modeI don't play on high mode on the pc. I'm on low/medium. But I don't care. I don't play a game for its graphics. I rather play on low/medium quality with the possibility to download any mod I want, than to have a very high quality with only a few official mods (which I will have to pay for). Anyway, if you want to play on the xbox 360, it's your choice. That's fine. I'm not saying it's right or wrong, I'm just saying that I prefer the PC. I tend to agree here. I think at least half or more of the supposed "bugs" in Oblivion are actually more a case of the game's settings being too high and crashing most PC's. I own an extremely high-end PC and even on my rig, the game forces the hardware to chug along quite often. This game is obviously ahead of its time, so far as its hardware requirements. It does have a few actual hardcore bugs (crashing on exit, some possible memory leaks, a few NPC anomalies, etc.), but overall I think what we *really* need for the PC version is some extreme (and expensive) hardware, particularly in terms of video performance. Anyway, I can live with a few glitches... the rest of the game is damned near pefect. :D
WarKirby3333
I used to be a console fanboy, then I got my PC. Now I play Oblivion with all GFX settings maxed on 1280x1024 resolution, and my PS2 gathers dust in a cupboard somewhere. WarKirby
Tiberiu911
Personally, I have Morrowind GOTY for xbox and Oblivion for PC. I can tell you that having no mods for Morrowind really is a pain if you want to start playing a 2nd time. But then again, its my oppinion. I run Oblivion on High, so I dont get the X360 graphics better syndrome. With a few awesome texture mods installed (Qarls per exemple), Oblivion's graphics are better than Vanilla. Then again, some games just need to be played on consoles. Halo 3, per exemple. But not Oblivion, at least not in my oppinion. I know what WarKibby ment by gathering dust :). My 3 years old xbox had its share since I got Oblivion.
Vagrant0
I used to be a console fanboy, then I got my PC. Now I play Oblivion with all GFX settings maxed on 1280x1024 resolution, and my PS2 gathers dust in a cupboard somewhere. WarKirby Ditto, although mine has been gathering dust ever since they changed all the Gameshark/AR stuff around, and raher than search every store in the area for the proper version cheat device I said "screw this" and just stopped playing. Which is a good thing since most games for the console suck ass these days. Rushed production, repetitive game play, lack of depth... Atleast with the computer you have a slightly more articulate population that can atcually give you an idea if the game is utter crap, or if it has some remote value. The only real value (things that don't lose their enjoyment after 10+ hours) of Oblivion is modding, something which can't be done on console.
