OmniDeath
I rescently got a dell laptop and tried installing oblivion on it. It instals fine and the system sets grphics to "medium" by default, but when i play im losing a ton of frames. i know mods have been made (like texture replacers) to help th egame run better on low end systems. could someone post some good ones here, or any other suggestions, to help it run smoother System specs are; 2.16 ghz intel centrino duo 2 gb ram 256mb geforce 7300
Marxist ßastard
Your battery has the capability of hardware-accelerating explosion effects. Tried turning that option on?

Switch
I believe he was joking, as Dell laptops have a reputation of overheating due to poor battery design. ^^; I think the biggest thing you can use for helping the game to run better on low end systems is Oldblivion. Try that and see how things go.

OmniDeath
well i installed it and it works great except there is no water detail, even when turned on, and when outside, there doesnt seem to be any light source, but aside from that its works great. Tiberiu911
Yup, Oldblivion sure gave low-end computer gamers the chance to play Oblivion. Do bear in mind that lap-tops arent designed for games anyways ^^. Thats where desktops come in.
