Demon88
ok, go into the music folder of oblivion. should be in something like the c:/program files/bethesda softworks/oblivion/data/music go into a folder (e.g. battle) delete all music in there copy and paste music you want in there from where all music is kept on your computer (normally my music) and there it is... do it for each individual folder and you created your own soundtrack... for the special folder, i left it as it is, but changed the one that is labeled tes4title. i chose a song that i wanted, deleted the tes4title and renamed chosen song tes4title. that is for when you see oblivion at the start of the game (new game, continue etc) thats about as far as my modding comes in. lol, enjoy :)

Don't delete all the game music, people, you might want it later. Just move it to a backup folder on your desktop or your "my music" if you don't want it in the game. Otherwise it's awkward to get it off the dvd again. You might not want any of those sounds, Demon88, but other people might. :) I left the game music there and just added my own, so I have a mixture of the game's battle tunes (for instance) and periodically a Linkin Park song comes up. I like it better this way. So may others.

Sypron
I thought i saved my music, but then i wanted it back. I'm such a %&$!head. It took me two days of hair pulling, but i've got it back. Its a real female dog trying to put them back into the right folders when the names are changed. (oblivion soundtrack)
Demon88
i dont know where it is, but i think that i have seen a mod where it has all of the original music for oblivion. if people wanted it there in the first place then it stands to reason not to delete it. and also its hard to find what the different music is unless listened to it all because all of the oblivion music sounds the same to me. (all crap. lol) just put this here for those that wanted to change it.
