OK. Heres the story. Ive been messing around with a cool mod called unlimited wear. I ended up taking various helmets in the game and switching one helmet to the tail slot. When you put two helmets on you can actually make some cool new looking armor. I have done this with the armor too. My request is to take the armet in the link, and match the color to the paladin helm in the picture and just retex it to match the paladin helmet. When both of them are on its looks killer.but without the right colors the mesh looks a little hacked up. I hope i could explain myself. I would take a picture of my armor in game but i cant take screen shots in game. And yes i have changed the ini file. Well I hope someone can help me. I included the paladin helm pic which i want the armets color to look like. I cant post two pics so i will give the link to the armet pic.The armet pic is under user submitted pics. Brilliant Armet. thanx for your time.

HAha. ok i found out how to take screenies. Heres my character. The armor looks a little different because its sauron silver armor. And the paladin helm has no back chainmail to it.Also i put steel pauldrons on saurons armor. other then that you can see the color mistakes throughout the two helms. But ben making some great armor combination's. But i think it looks killer other than the contrasting color Edited by jamusknight

Ghogiels armor is shiny because I applied this Reflective Metal effect to it.

If you install Blender, you could import two helmets that you'd like to combine, then delete what you don't want and re-export it to make a new helmet. Custom Helmets

I would love to be able to make my own armor, but the problem is that i dont really know anything about modding. I have never done anything like it so i dont really know where to start. I read over the links you gave me, but it says that you need o have atleast the basics down. I dont even have the basics. I would be very grateful if you could blend those two helms for me and make a new helm for me.

You'll want to get the basics of Blender worked out...such as navigating. I do a fairly good job at describing what needs to be done in my tutorials but some things as assumed.

Bookmark this link and go through some of the tutorials there as well...but start off with the Noob-to-Pro first which teaches the basics.

It won't take long to get familiar with it and once you do, the tutorials I've made will teach you the rest for getting the models in-game.

You are going to take fun to a whole new level when you are able to start making model changes yourself...and eventually making your own models and textures.

Have fun,

  • 4 weeks later...

I cant figure it out. Can someone please make this helmet for me with both helmets combined and without the back chain mail so the helmet is rounded, like i have in the pic. It uses Ghogiels armet and the paladin helmet. Basically i want the same helmet but when i combine both by making one helmet use the ring slot the colors of both helmets clash. But i like the look, so i make believe its cool that the colors are different.

Oh and a longer plume would be great if its not to much trouble.
