Alecu
Yeah, it's compiled for now, but I haven't used Maya enough for this yet. And the source code still eludes me but what I find hard to understand is how exactly the data is organized in Maya from a programers perspective. I want to know exactly how the scene in handled in maya. Is it a graph or a tree? Next comes into play Maya's mysterious stack that sometimes comes into play. Also a lot about bones, animation, space types, transformation stuff eludes me. Like for example what is actually a skin in Maya? Is is a property that you can attach to any object? Is everything in maya objects that you can attach properties to? I did find a bug for the 2012 version. This may be very well a bug in Maya or somehow the nif exporter handles the Maya api bad but I doubt it. But I wasn't able to get some armors in-game properly.
