GodOfFear95 Posted April 14, 2015 Share Posted April 14, 2015 After logging into Steam for the first time in a few months, every time I start the game it gets to the second loading screen before messages start popping up (Courier's stash loaded, Dead Money Loaded, etc) before going completely black with the music still playing in the background. I doubt it's a conflict with any of my mods as I've been playing with the same modlist for weeks, but if anybody else has had this issue could they please advise me? Or, does it just go black and stay black until you Control-Alt-Delete your way out and see that the program is unresponsive in the processing window? I ask because if you are experiencing a CTD then the error is usually processing incompatibility where Steam updated and your NVSE is outdated. If you are control-alt-deleting and seeing NV as being unresponsive in the processing window then most likely its a specific mod conflicting with some sort of patch. By the description you have provided... I think you downloaded a patch and the game checked off the items after loading. My advice would be to download the latest NVSE scripts, properly install them, and run NVSE to start your game. Odd are... this will fix whatever issues you are having.
