djmystro
I have created a very big fight & loot mod with many different characters of different races. Initally they all appared in game as caucasian though I had encountered this modding Fallout 3 and figured it would be easy to solve by converting the file to an .esm. Unfortunately this has only changed the the colour of the NPCs bodies and has still not affected thier heads. I have used FNVedit to change the file to an .esm and tested it out (with it marked in the header as an .esm but appearing as an .esp)and converted it to .esm using FOMM's TESsnip (both header and filename appearing as .esm), both with the same results.I have also run FNVMasterUpdate several times to no avail.I have applied archive invalidated and made sure all NPCs have 'can be all races' checked. I have even tried starting a new game just to be sure. Always the same result - bodies appear correct but heads appear as standard caucasian. Characters being affected include Powder Gangers, Viper Gunslingers, Jackal gang members and (as far as I can tell) everyone else for that matter. Any ideas where iv'e gone wrong? djmystro
Finally found a solution which involved changing FalloutNV ini file setting (found in my documents/mygames etc..). Search for the linebLoadFaceGenHeadEGTFiles=0and change it tobLoadFaceGenHeadEGTFiles=1 Unfortunately this will make my MOD run with the same bug on people's machines with similar configurations so i'll upload this info on my main page also.
