Moving Characters

How do I manage my characters. I mean I would like to have the character and his equipment available for multiple 3rd party Mods.

It seems that the character is saved in the context of a mod or OC and I don't know how to access that character for a different stand-alone 3rd party Mod.

Well... The Player Character (PC) and the PC's inventory is stored differently than for NPCs. PCs and their gear exist totally independently, both of each other, (different ".das" files) and of any mods. If I understand what you're asking, ("I want to use my existing character, exactly as-is, as a 'drop-in' NPC.") you would have to build that NPC from scratch within the mod.

 

Now if you just wanted to use your PC's face as a drop-in replacement, that's a lot easier to do. :laugh:

Heyas, sorry to get in on this one late.

Walker- I THINK that you are referring to mods which add adventures which are completely not related to the original story line? If so you need to point out which mods, so that we can look at them and see how they handle the characters. Some of them it may not be possible, others it might, but won't know til we know which mods to take a look at ;)
