gunslinger6792 Posted April 17, 2015 Share Posted April 17, 2015 So I'm trying to create more like add a few guns for personal use from a mod I found. I have the meshes and textures but if I try to create a weapon in the geck the textures don't seem to work. Does anyone know how to fix this? Would the same thing happen if I made an armor bash from say two or more different armors from different mods?My process (or what I'm doing) relies on me going and individually removing the mesh and texture files for a gun and then adding them in manually to the mesh and texture files in my FNV data folder. From there I open up the geck and I can either try to replace the mesh for an already made weapon or create a new weapon entirely. Eitherway the process seems to lose or break the textures and I don't know how to fix that. I'd like to learn how to do this so I could piece together my own weapon or armor packs. Ladez Posted April 17, 2015 Share Posted April 17, 2015 You need to preserve the folder structure that you copied it from, because the texture path inside the mesh files depend on that. If you want to rename the folders or some such, you need to edit the texture paths on the meshes with NifSkope. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
