Noggog
So, I was wondering why my Bretons always looked like prepubescent Peter Pan even when they were set to max age. I narrowed it down to my Ren_Soya_KD's mod that changes Breton's head icon to have a custom freckles (a texture called lordsegomofreckles.dds). For some reason, just changing the base texture to a freckle one seems to be changing the references to the various aging overlays along with it. I don't see any reference to any aging overlays in TES4edit, so I'm wondering how the game ties aging overlays to a race? Is it possible to get Bretons with freckles, but with the same old Imperial aging overlays? Thanks in advance! 8)
LFact
If it replaces default age map, I don't think you can use it while keeping old age.
Noggog
It's my understanding that there's a base texture that goes on all imperials (another for orcs, etc). And then there are -additional- textures that get overlayed on top to apply the age. Somehow the two get connected. Does the ordinary imperial face texture somehow contain a mapping to all the separate age textures? As far as I knew it was just a normal DDS texture.
