Brian0610
I keep getting something like this, I think it has to do with my expanded weapon mod mod, as i can buy the mod parts from vendors but I still can't equipp them to unique weapons. Now when I have all the right mods downloaded in the order that was listed, I get the new vegas art screen with the ranger, but no "new game, continue, settings, etc." options. when i go to task manager i get a check load order message. Some mods i can't move up and down the list in nexus as it won't let me change load order. Here is the current load order list: Plugin: Load order: FalloutNV.esm 00CaravanPack.esm 1ClassicPack.esm 2MercenaryPack.esm 3TribalPack.esm 4DeadMoney.esm 5HonestHearts.esm 6OldWorldBlues.esm 7LonesomeRoad.esm 8GunRunnersArsenal.esm 9YUP - Base Game + All D... 0AProject Nevada - Core 0B" " - Cyberw... 0C" " - Equipm... 0D" " - Rebalan... 0E" " - Extra O... 0FWME - GRE.esm 10WeaponModsExpanded... 11Project Nevada - Cyberw... 12" " - Rebalan... 13 " " - All DLC... 14WME - GRA - Arenovalis 15" " - Complete.esp 16" " - Just Guns 17" " - Unique Inte 18" " - Vender Ref 19" " - Weapon In 1A" " - All Weapon 1BYUP - NPC Fixes (Base G 1CCNR_Beta.esp 1D Please help, the game is unplayable and it took me almost a whole week (hrs per day) just to down load these mods and figure out how to get Nexus mod manager to work. -Brian
JimboUK
Load up FNVEdit, if there is a master missing or one in the wrong place it will throw up an error telling which esp is missing it's master and the name of that master.

Ok, I installed FNVEdit. And get this section causing problems: [00:01] Background Loader: loading "WME - GRA.esm"...[00:01] Background Loader: [WME - GRA.esm] Loading file[00:01] Background Loader: [WME - GRA.esm] File loaded[00:01] Background Loader: [WME - GRA.esm] Start processing[00:01] Background Loader: [WME - GRA.esm] Adding master "FalloutNV.esm"[00:01] Background Loader: [WME - GRA.esm] Adding master "GunRunnersArsenal.esm"[00:01] Background Loader: [WME - GRA.esm] Adding master "Weapon Mod Expansion.esm"[00:01] Background Loader: [Weapon Mod Expansion.esm] Loading file[00:01] Background Loader: Fatal: <Exception: "WME - GRA.esm" requires master "Weapon Mod Expansion.esm" to be loaded before it.>[00:10] Background Loader: finished I'm not sure what to do as no matter how many times I download the mods, there is no Weapon Mod Expansion.esm. I do have a Weapon Mod Expansion.esp after WME - GRA.esm in the load order. I think if I can bump up Weapon Mod Expansion.esp to be above WME - GRA.esm in the load order then it might work. Problem is it won't let me bump it up in the load order, I can only move it down the list as there is not green up arrow when I select it.
Ladez
That load order looks utterly wrecked, did you type it out yourself or something? A lot of the names are cut off at the end. There's a function in your mod manager that allows you to expand it to clipboard, use that next time. You can't put WeaponModsExpanded.esp before WME - GRA.esm because ESP files can't load before ESM files. Also, WeaponModsExpanded.esp is the main file for WMX. WME - GRA.esm seems to be an addon for WME. They are two different mods. WME - GRA.esm needs the main WME file called Weapon Mod Expansion.esm to work. I've downloaded all the weapon mod expansions over and over again...yet there is still not Weapon Mod Expansion.esm. I know I need this file, but it doesn't exist for some reason. I'm not the most skilled at this stuff, so it is difficult for me to understand these things and how to fix them.
Ladez
Then you didn't do it right. In FOMM go the the Load Order menu and click Copy to clipboard. In NMM you'll find a button somewhere on the left hand side of the plugins tab. The load order should be posted in a legible form if you want to ensure getting the best help. Like I said, Weapon Mod Expansion.esm is the main plugin for WME - Weapon Mod Expansion. You have WeaponModsExpanded.esp, which is the main plugin for Weapon Mods Expanded - WMX. WME - GRA.esm is an patch for WME, so you need the main plugin for that, not WMX.

Here is what it looks like: GameMode=FalloutNV FalloutNV.esm=1DeadMoney.esm=1HonestHearts.esm=1OldWorldBlues.esm=1LonesomeRoad.esm=1GunRunnersArsenal.esm=1ClassicPack.esm=1MercenaryPack.esm=1TribalPack.esm=1CaravanPack.esm=1YUP - Base Game + All DLC.esm=1Project Nevada - Core.esm=1Project Nevada - Equipment.esm=1Project Nevada - Rebalance.esp=1Project Nevada - Cyberware.esp=1Project Nevada - Extra Options.esm=1WME - GRA.esm=1YUP - NPC Fixes (Base Game + All DLC).esp=1WeaponModsExpanded.esp=1CNR_Beta.esp=1Project Nevada - Rebalance Complete.esp=1Project Nevada - All DLC.esp=1Project Nevada - Cyberware Additions.esp=1WME - GRA - Complete.esp=1WME - GRA - All Weapons.esp=1WME - GRA - Just Guns.esp=1WME - GRA - Arenovalis.esp=1WME - GRA - Unique Integration.esp=1WME - GRA - Vendor Reform.esp=1WME - GRA - Weapon Integration.esp=1 The problem I have is the WME - Weapon Mod Expansion link. I've downloaded that exact mod a good 8 times now, and the .esm file never shows (unless I'm reading the plugin list wrong). -Brian Ok, I just tried installing again the WME - Weapon Mod Expansion link at 2009 hours EST 20 April 2015. All it does is overwrite the what I already have. I've even tried it by not overwriting and it will still have the same problem of not showing in the list. Not sure if this helps but when it downloads, it shows up in the download manager (bottom left box) as "WME - Weapon Mod Expansion - WME - GRA has been added". Brian0610
Main file, first in the list, size of 29 MB. It's included in the archive....I don't understand any of this. What do you mean by main file? By first in the list do you mean FalloutNV.esm=1? Don't know what you mean by archive. how do you know the size of a file? Ladez
The list of main files in the download section of the mod page. Quite apparent. Download the first of those. That's what you should have done to start with. By archive I mean file archive. The file you download. More specifically, mods are typically packaged in an archive of the 7z format and to extract them you require a file archiving program capable of doing so, like 7-Zip. If you use NMM you can simply choose download with manager instead and you can just activate the mod inside the program. It should handle unpackaging automatically. The size of each file is listed in the download section also. I don't mean to come off as condescending, but some of this is elementary computing knowledge. If you're looking to mod games or use PCs in general, you should know what a file archive is and how to see the size of a file.
