WizardOfAtlantis
So, do you think that Skyrim will take advantage of the possibilities of DirectX 11 or will they leave it out so as to not leave out gamers with less-than-up-to-date machines? Thor.
OHHHH if they bring dx 11 to Skyrim it'll be a dream come true when it comes to Icandy  . Edited December 19, 2010 by Thor.
HeX16
Omg, DX11 would be epic, beyond epic maybe, Well look at it this way, Oblvion was way ahead graphics wise for its time. Lets hope they do the same for Skyrim but if the engine isnt well made i see lag in my future.
WizardOfAtlantis
Well, DirectX 10 would still be a step up, wouldn't it? Fallout 3 (and I assume New Vegas?) only uses dx 9, don't they?

Zaldir
Yeah, even DX 10 would be a step up, but DX 11 would be great! :D
DonKnotts
Do either of the consoles support DX11? I would assume that's what the main influence on that decision would be. If neither of them do it would be a lot of extra work for what would likely be the platform with lowest sales. On a side note, if the new engine isn't mod friendly, I personally wouldn't even bother to buy the PC version.
HeX16
I wish i cared about the consoles, lets be honest oblivion failed on consoles. Why you ask? Mods without mods oblivion was pure s***.
