djmystro
I just managed to delete a days work by accidentally deleting my esp file instead of an old esm using FOMM. Needless to say I will not be deleting mods in this manner in a hurry again. Just wanted to check see if anyone knows if it's still stored in a temp location somewhere as my recycle bin in effectively empty.

djmystro
Ha ha - I don't believe it! I actually left the GECK running before I went to test my file - all the data is still there. I'm amazed I didn't notice but I was quite tired last night. Sorry that this is of absolutely no value to anyone else. If anyone does still know for sure whether resoring these files is possible through other means can't hurt to say. I'm afraid Baduk's tip did not work for me (but I am on Vista). Quetzlsacatanango
I don't know about FOMM, but anything you modify with fo3/fnvedit gets a backup made. So you can find the backup and remove the date part (rename back to .esp) and have your work back from that point.
Draco856
The Geck saves a backup of any mods made with it in the data folder, any files saved should be saved to that folder when using the GECK.
