SandsOfTime404
Are there any driver updates, etc. that you downloaded when you got the computer that may need to be reinstalled now that you've restored it?
Osteoporozis
First off, people would have less trouble understanding you if you used periods and commas. I honestly had problems comprehending that first post.As far as fixing your problem, we need more information. You said you get zero FPS but the music continues; can you open menus or the console? Next time it happens, press tilde (~) and see if the console comes up. If it doesn't, then the game has most likely just crashed. If you can tell us that much we can certainly help you further.Best of luck.

Osteoporozis
Is there any obvious trigger to these hiccups? Does it happen when you're standing still, fighting, running, or does it happen regardless? Also, you should post a list of mods you use, in case one might have something to do with it. bben46
The purpose of capitalization, punctuation and sentence structure is to make what you write clear to whoever is reading it. Not to force you into some archaic conventions. If you want people to answer, try using what you learned in school. We don't grade on spelling or grammar, but an attempt would help. If I have to read a post 2 or three times to figure out what you want, I and many others are not going to bother with it.
superhacker101
sorry about my spelling ill fix it. the only mod i use is deadly reflex and these hicups were happing befor i installed the mod. also it will do this whenever it feels like for instance i could be in console or menu and it will still happen i could be loading and it would happen thats bad the game will then fully crash. also i opend task manager while it was having a fit it said not responding but when it comes back it responds i have trubbled shoot it nothing is there any thing i could do i think i might have to go to reinstall but keep the saves
Osteoporozis
Something must have changed with your computer from the restore that is effecting Oblivion. I don't think Deadly Reflex is the cause of your problem, so if that's your only mod a reinstall will probably do nothing. Only thing left to consider is a change in your computer.Note first that having a lot of files on your hard drive will slow your computer down a lot, and make Oblivion stutter. I have an external hard drive to take care of that - I can put whatever files I don't need on there, or even install programs to it. Just a thought. If your hard drive is mostly clear, though, I think the problem may be in your video card. I suggest checking to see if there are any driver updates available.
