TES5Edit: can't find it in my laptop after I download

I've tried downloading it several times and all I seem to get is more copies of the 7-zip thing.

It worked once - I could find it by the logo that appears before the filename - now, I get the name with a generic disc picture, but it turns out to be another copy of the 7=zip thing.

 

I'm an old lady & new to these computer games, so please talk as if you are talking to your mom (which I may be)

Jokes aside, the 7zip file you downloaded is a type of compressed file format.

So what you need is a program to unpack said file. Seeing as it's a 7zip file, you'll the 7zip program which can be downloaded from here: http://www.7-zip.org/download.html

Actually, that's what I meant: I've got multiple copies of the program that un-zips zip files, apparently, saved as "TES5Edit" but they aren't.
